Welcome to Lyme Regis Golf Club

Lyme Regis Golf Club was founded in 1893 and is recognised as one of the finest golf courses in the South West.

The golf course hosts county, regional and national championships, the 18 hole par 71 course occupies a cliff top site with coastal views towards Portland Bill and overlooks the Historical town and World Heritage Site of Lyme Regis, It is a challenging test, with a sea breeze, ideal for all abilities.

The Clubhouse, overlooking the 18th green makes the ideal location to unwind and relax after a match or perfect for those special events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries or for a relaxing lunch.

  • We had such a good time playing golf here, the wind blew the balls about but that made it even more fun chasing after them, we could take our time with each of the eighteen holes and played with ease. I would definitely recommend stopping off to play golf here when visiting Lyme Regis, especially if you go with your kids as it will stop them from being bored and keep them entertained for an hour or two.

  • One of the best golf courses of the South West. Challenging course with terrific views over the Jurassic Coast. It is a must play course. And the fish and chips back in the club house are to die for!

  • A lovely course even though it can be windy. The entire club has a very nice atmosphere and the food is particularly good.

  • Whilst the range is away from the course, this is a friendly and reasonably testing course. Being primarily for members, the 2-tee starting system (and ladies day) take some getting used to, but Tom and I love the course, with 8 an 16 being impossible for me to reach, the wedge game is called to the fore. A couple of lengthy green to tee transfers make my (holidaying) buggy a bonus.
