The golf course hosts County, Regional and National Championships.

The 18 hole par 71 course occupies a cliff top site with coastal views towards Portland Bill and overlooks the Historical town and World Heritage Site of Lyme Regis, It is a challenging test, with a sea breeze, ideal for all abilities.

The Clubhouse, overlooking the 18th green makes the ideal location to unwind and relax after a match or perfect for those special events such as birthdays and anniversaries or just for a relaxing lunch.

The Course

Lyme Regis Golf Club was founded in 1893 and is recognised as one of the finest golf courses in the South West.

We encourage and welcome all playing abilities and have membership categories to suit all age groups.

Private Functions

We have an excellent venue to suit any occasion, with wonderful views and excess of 100 free car parking spaces.

Four of us came down from the Bristol area to play in the scramble yesterday, and what a thoroughly enjoyable day it was.

Good atmosphere on the course and in the clubhouse, course presented in perfect condition, and a congenial welcome in the bar and restaurant afterwards. 10/10 Lyme Regis Golf!

“Wow where do I start , we had booked for eight people for my mother -in-laws 71st Birthday and from the minute we walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome, we were shown to our table by Piotr the bar manager and we’re served drinks very quickly and settled in , every member of staff had a big smile and nothing seemed to much even though they were clearly very busy.
The food didn’t disappoint the carvery was amazing but there were other choices if you wanted them, from the table service right through to the food nothing disappointed Piotr and the team were fantastic and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.”

“Wow! what a wonderful roast lunch we had at Green’s Restaurant today. So pleased it’s opened again. The food was exceptional – really delicious. My starter, a smoked salmon plate, was beautifully presented and flavoursome. Roast meats were very tasty, and there was a huge variety of vegetables, my favourites being the cauliflower/broccoli cheese and spicy red cabbage. Apple sauce was yummy too. Customer service excellent especially Harvey who welcomed us.”
