Golf opportunities for all
We have golf opportunities to suit everyone, either competitive golf, social golf or playing within roll-up groups throughout the week.
For those who do not play golf, why not join as a social member and join in the exciting events we hold at the club throughout the year? From quiz nights to themed dining experiences, there’re plenty of good reasons to sign up! All at members’ discounted rates on bar and food purchases.
Our membership subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March and all subscription fees exclude any National or Regional golf levies which are, if applicable, charged in addition.
The Ladies Section
The Ladies Section are a lively, friendly and welcoming group catering for golfers of all abilities from beginners to serious golfers.
We take an active part in playing and hosting both County and National competitions and participate in both interclub and Woods categories at County level.
The Ladies sections has a dedicated morning each Thursday for which the Ladies Committee and Competitions Secretary arrange handicap qualifying and friendly events for 18 hole players, 9 hole players and beginners and we strive to be an all-inclusive section.
On Monday and Tuesday morning there are mixed level groups of ladies roll ups where everyone is welcome.
The Ladies Committee meet once a month to review and plan ahead to ensure that all events are run efficiently and that there are events, competitions and activities for all lady members whatever their level of ability.
The Men's Section
At Lyme Regis Golf Club, we have a thriving Men’s Section of over 450 members. Members are welcome to participate in club competitions which include inter-club matches, medals and stablefords. There are also a number of roll-ups throughout the week open to new or existing members.
Throughout the year we host several Open events in which you can invite your friends to participate.
There is also a well-supported Men’s Senior Section which has an extensive schedule of events, competitions and inter club fixtures for all senior members to participate in during the year. To qualify as a Senior at LRGC you must be 55 years or over.
